O-Ring Surface treatments

Eur-O-Rings offers a variety of O-ring surface treatments for various application needs. These external treatments can be in the form of dry or wet coatings or dips. Surface treatments are used for numerous reasons, the most common are friction reduction, ease of installation and contrasting color (for easier identification).   5. DRYCOAT: high elasticity and high resistance to solvents, detergents, fuels and lubricants. PTFE, colorless, temp. -40 + 200 0 C.

  6. METACOAT: Very low coefficient of friction. PTFE based + Graphite e molybdenum sulfide, silvery, -40 + 100 0 C.

  7. LUBRYCOAT: high chemical stability and high elasticity. Two-component PTFE based, transparent, dry, temp. -40°/+180 °C.

  8. GLECOAT: resistance to water, mineral oil and fuels and not harmful to health and the environment. Two-component PTFE based, colorless or colored, temp. -70°/+250 °C

  9. FLOWCOAT: excellent for dynamic applications, good abrasion resistance to water, benzene and oils. Solvent based, colorless, -70°/+180 °C.

  10. SMARTCOAT: optimal for parts that work in heavy and difficult operating conditions; high stability over time, non-flammable properties and wide thermal range of resistance. PFPE based, chemical resistant, colorless, wet, temp. -50 + 225 0 C.

  11. SLIDINGCOAT: suitable for food industry and dynamic application, good on many material surfaces. PTFE based, opaque, temp. -180 + 250 0 C.

  13. ESSECOAT: suitable for offline applications on sponge and conventional rubber (door seals, folding top

    seals and trunk seals), soft appearance. PTFE based, black, temp. -40 + 180 0 C

  14. PGM-COAT: excellent to speed-up industrial process. PTFE based, colorless, temp. -45 + 150 0 C.

  15. GAZCOAT: best anti-sticking treatment in terms of economy, performance and repeatability. Plasma treatment, colorless, -40 / + 450 0 C.

  16. SOFT TOUCH: liquid and paste silicone compounds treatment, soft-touch & silky-touch. Coating treatments with KLUBER and FUCHS are also available.
