Back-up Rings

Back-up rings are used to protect O-rings from deformation or extrusion under high pressure or dynamic loads. They provide additional support to the O-ring and ensure a stable seal, even under varying pressure or motion. Back-up rings are placed on one or both sides of the O-ring, depending on the direction of the pressure.
